NEOM Trojena

Mountain Access Infrastructure

Set against the dramatic and scenic heights of the Trojena mountain zone, Rubiavi Contracting Group is executing a high-altitude fabrication and installation scope critical to NEOM’s water conveyance strategy. The project involves constructing access and support infrastructure along a pipeline corridor that climbs from the Lower Reservoir at the base of Trojena up to the Mountain Reservoir near the summit — a breathtaking and technically demanding route across one of Saudi Arabia’s most ambitious development zones.

After the execution of our civil works, our scope includes the production, delivery, and installation of galvanized steel gratings, access ladders, cage ladders, checkered plate platforms, structural steel supports and accessories for the pipeline project— all engineered to withstand the harsh, high-altitude climate and installed across steep gradients and remote mountain work fronts. These works ensure safe and secure access to pumping stations, valve chambers, and shaft structures as the pipeline scales the vertical rise of Trojena’s terrain. Executed under the stringent requirements of NEOM’s Schedule Q and overseen by Bechtel and NEOM’s consultant team, the project reflects Rubiavi’s capability to deliver precision steel works under extreme logistical and environmental conditions. The Trojena corridor is not only a marvel of engineering but a test of resilience, and Rubiavi continues to rise to that challenge.
