Water System
To expand on its coastal water transmission portfolio, Rubiavi Contracting Group delivered full-scope steel fabrication and installation packages across over ten sites including Al Lith, Umluj, Duba, Haql, and Al Wajh. The work involved hot-dip galvanized gratings, cage and cat ladders, staircases, access handrails, custom-fabricated manhole covers and pipeline metalwork accesorries worth alone over 7 million SAR. Challenges centered around managing remote site logistics and phased deliveries to FFU buildings, pump stations, cable tunnels, and surge vessels, each with unique fitment and installation constraints. Fabrication followed QA/QC documentation, IFC-aligned shop drawings, and scheduling delivered for each milestone
Despite the high coordination demands across multiple sites and regions, Rubiavi executed the scope on time and within the client’s safety and quality requirements, reinforcing its reputation for reliability in major water infrastructure delivery. Over 60 types of pipe supports were supplied and installed, incorporating butterfly, flow, and control valve supports, all built to strict project specifications with engineered teflon pads and anchor plate assemblies.
