Khobar–Hofouf Water
Transmission System
Abdul Rehman Saad Al-Rubiavi was entrusted with a major fabrication and supply package for the Khobar–Hofouf Water Transmission System, Phase 2 – Group B, supporting a critical expansion of Eastern Province’s utility infrastructure. The project involved the manufacture and delivery of galvanized shaft gratings, staircases, cat ladders (with and without cages), handrails, and heavy-duty checkered plates, all tailored for pump stations, instrumentation buildings, and underground shaft networks.
Alongside these structural elements, Rubiavi fabricated precision-built pipe sleeves and puddle-flanged sections, including pipe sleeves, some subjected to full-penetration welding and 10% radiographic inspection. Custom site-specific components like chain link fence and gates were also fabricated in accordance with SWCC and consultant-approved specifications. This assignment highlights Rubiavi’s ability to coordinate complex, high-compliance fabrication scopes and execute multi-location deliveries under fast-track timelines, reinforcing our role as a trusted supplier for critical water infrastructure.
