NEOM Gayal to Ba’ada

Pipeline Corridor

Rubiavi Contracting is awarded a key structural steel scope along the Gayal and Magna corridor as part of NEOM’s utility backbone. The scope includes fabrication and hot-dip galvanization of shaft gratings, platform access ladders, heavy-duty checkered plates, and structural steel components for valve chambers and equipment platforms. Teams are required to work in high-risk access works, with specialized capabilities for vertical steel installation and confined-space fabrication essential for NEOM’s deep shaft environments, some reaching depths of 15 meters. All deliverables are executed to ASTM A-123 standards and IFC-approved drawings, under Schedule Q protocols and consultant supervision by Bechtel

In parallel, Rubiavi is fabricating and delivering a wide range of pipeline supports and blind flanges . Work still continues as of May of 2025 across approximately 120 shafts and four pump stations spanning the Gayal to Ba’ada and Ba’ada to Lower Reservoir corridors — the latter located at the foot of Mount Trojena. The pipeline scope includes fixed, sliding, and valve supports tailored for large-diameter lines, with full QA/QC documentation and logistics managed across remote highland sites.
